Guess who those two are above? lol. With the post I am about to write I had to share that pic again from I think two years ago.
Two post by @jongolson really got me going, a real motivation and a new focus for me. I am on Liketu. Mind blowing I know. Jon put out a challenge in this post Let's Try Something New.....We'll Call It #Index4Index and I jumped on it.
Sometimes the universe is just trying to send you a message. The same time Jon put this out, a brand new employee at work that is in the office staff, not sure her roll, started sending a daily email with a motivational quote. So my first LikeTu and Index4Index was the selfie I did to send back to the employee.
So first thing I had to do this morning was get another index card done and get it posted on LikeTu. I will try and get better at my LikeTu posts.
I have set a new goal, of doing at least 365 days of LikeTu, Index4Index posts. And knowing me I will keep going after that.
That brings me to Jon's second post that got me: The Harvest Is Plentiful.
I wont repeat his whole post, you can read that yourself but here is a highlight:
"But the general idea behind the complaint I saw against Hive was...
The whales never notice the small guys
The only way to get ahead here is to 'know the right people'
You had to get in super early to Steem to be able to win at this
And more reasons why....People can't succeed here.
I was disturbed by these excuses because, as I'm going to share now, they truly hold no weight here."
I am with Jon on this one. It is all EXCUSES. You are not succeeding because you are not putting in enough effort. That is blunt I know, but it is true. You want to success on Hive? Then what ever you are doing now, 10X it. Do more. Be more active. Post more, work on your posts, engage more, take part in things like this Index4Index.
I am what? 1153 strait days of posting at least one post on Hive. You think I got where I am at overnight? Not fracking likely. It takes dedication, time, and tremendous effort.
In my 55 plus years on this planet I have learned, including myself here, if you sit and complain about what you don't have in life, what you cannot get, about the 1 percent it is because you won't, don't want to, to lazy to go for it.
Will I be in the 1 percent before I die? Most likely not. Will I be a whale on Hive one day, most likely not. But you know what? It is not going to stop me from striving for it. It is not going to stop me from putting in the effort.
The moral of this writing: Stop you whining put in the effort and start winning.
You want effort! Trying To Hive Without Power: The Importance Of Showing Up No Matter What by @taskmaster4450
"So as I sit here at the public library, which has power but no Internet, connected through a hotspot on my phone that is being charged for the first time in 2 days, I am able to Hive. This is important to me and all of us. My firm belief is we all have a part to play, even if it does not seem that crucial. This is a numbers game and, by taking a day off, bad habits can develop."
Task is dealing with Hurricane Ian aftermath. Read his post for fuck sakes.
Then think about, think hard about why you cannot succeed on Hive and in Life!
Okay, end of rant. lol
It is Saturday. I had to set the release price for BBH token.
It is still a tight range over the last 5 weeks. But lowest Hive has been against Bitcoin in some time.
Of course I did my ListNerds eamils. And I got a couple to share because they are part of the Index4Index and that is a new passion of mine.

So with the 3speak issues and my motivation issues of doing videos lately I am very thankful for the Index4Index challenge.
I think I had lots more to say, but I am leaving the post here for today.
