The company made a new purchase of nearly $243 million in Bitcoin, an additional 5,050 Bitcoins in its possession that boosts the company's holdings to 114,042 Bitcoins.
Bitcoin and its future potential represent a powerful investment incentive for MicroStrategy, which has defined the cryptocurrency as "a reliable store of value supported by a robust, public, open source architecture untethered to sovereign monetary policy."
