Gold foil cards are rare. Legendary cards are even more rare. And Legendary Gold Foil cards are the rarest in Splinterlands.
So far I got one Gold Foil and no single Legendary card out of reward chests, Chaos Legion Booster Packs and Gladius Cases. So yes, I am still waiting for my first Legendary as well as a Gold Foil Legendary (or GF epic or GF rare) card.
Besides the great Collection Power addition, it is also kind of a status symbol. To own legendary GF cards puts you to the few accounts on top of the pack, that do have those special cards. It also could help a lot with Brawls and Tournaments that require Gold Foil cards to play. And of course it would be a great addition to your market value.
The chance are, as already said, very low. So I am probably going to wait for a long time. But maybe one day I will be one of those lucky people.
