RE: Wild Peanuts Getting Wild

in Liketu10 months ago (edited)

We have that plant in abundance here too! Here it's s usually called perennial peanut, and it's a great lawn substitute! They are very lovely, and also very easy to propagate. The stems root when they come in contact with the ground, making finding suitable propagules very easy! They spread to form a large, flat mat of flower and foliage. Its botanical name is Arachis glabrata, and it's in the same genus as the edible peanut.

I hope that your time off is fun, fulfilling, and meaningful! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Oh! You really are good with plants @tydynrain . Pretty cool, my friend!! I want one!!!

Thank you! You too!!!

I've had a very close and deep relationship with plants all my life, so I usually have lots of info to share! You should be able to get some pretty easily! Just one or a few horizontal stems with roots will work!

Most certainly, you're very welcome! Thank you! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

That's wonderful!!

Yes, I'm deeply grateful for it! I wish you successful propagation! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
