Hello fellow #IAAC members! I am happy that I can again say that I am #ALIVE!
Today We Celebrate the Creation of Our Country
Today is the 4th of July, also known as Independence Day here in the United States of America. By signing the Declaration of Independence we literally declared our independence from Great Britain and soon after fought and won that Independence in the Revolutionary War.
My wife and I are going to a neighborhood party this afternoon and one of the neighbors is planning on firing fireworks. Last night we went to a friend and watched fireworks at one of the nearby towns . We live near Raleigh NC, the state capital, so a lot of nearby towns hold their celebrations on different days so as not to have to compete with the big city. Tomorrow we will likely go watch fireworks one more time as the town we live in will have their celebration on the 5th.
Holiday Plans
Our neighbors have invited us over for a 4th of July party. I'm expecting they will be having some fireworks because they have been “testing” them a couple of times over the last week. Normally about 1 hour after I have gone to bed. LOL. Should be fun and I'm hoping for some good food and beer too.
Long Walks Last Two Days
Yesterday we walked to the fireworks display and back from my friends house which was about 4 miles totals. Then today we took our dogs for a long walk hoping to have them be too tired to be scared of the fireworks tonight. Doubt that will help.
Stay Safe, Stay Alive, and Stay Awesome
See you all tomorrow!
