We Finally Got Some Rain
After a very wet winter, spring has been the driest on record here so far. But we got a decent shower last night which I'm thankful for as it will help my garden and my yard so much.
My Garden Is Doing Great
Here are a few snaps from my garden.
The tomatoes are doing really well this year. They are cherry tomatoes (Sweet Millions). You can see from the flowers that each cluster of tomatoes will have 20-30 cherry tomatoes on it.
My swiss chard is ready to pick again. Swiss chard is my favorite green as it is so tender and cooks up very easy with just a bit of water in a pot. My swiss chard came back from last year so I'm getting bonus production from those plants.
My peppers are just starting to take off now that we are getting some warm weather. They are a mix of jalapeno and Anaheims. Both are spicy, but the anaheims are good for stuffing.
I didn't get my cucumbers planted early so they are a bit behind, but look to be doing well. I had 100% sprout rate which surprised me. I actually had to thin them out since I plant two seeds per hole.
My neighbor gave me a handfull of beans this spring and I never asked him what kind they are. It was a mix of different looking beans but the plants all seem to look and grow the same.

Project Rent-A-Deck Is Taking Off
My personal #Splinterlands project Rent-A-Deck ( #rad ) is really doing well. Much better than I had expected actually. At this point, I am in the Gold III level and feel that Diamond level is a given. I might even hit the Pro level!
Wow!
I was worried that I would be getting abused at higher levels but I'm actually doing pretty good and have an outside shot at getting into the Ranked rewards this season!
Wow again!
Still Learning Python
I've been learning python in my spare time (like I have any of that!) and am starting to get the hang of it. Finally got all the required software installed and have made and run my first python script. Once I learn how to work with the HIVE blockchain I can start implementing some of my crazy ideas.
