Happy #thankfulThursday π Whew! The excitement of Christmas is finally over. Glad I survived the preparations. π I'm truly thankful that I felt the blessings of the universe when I got a really quiet and cool Christmas day. πβ€οΈπ‘
It's the day after and I got up more than an hour later than usual. I could get used to this. π Mini was the one who woke me up. She must be saying I should vacate the bed so she and her kittens could sleep there. π some cats... I truly learn so much from them including being patient and adaptable. π Thankfully, I didn't need to clean the litter boxes as the cleaner resumes today. Plus, I skipped watering the plants as it rained practically the whole day yesterday.
I scheduled a run to the bank -- a task I've put off for a while now. I decided to go early so there would be less folks. First, I made a stop at the neighborhood 7-11 store where I bought a loaf of bread, some peanuts, my favorite M&M's peanut, Toblerone (gift for the teller at the bank), and a drink called Popple (apple soda). It's crazy that it cost me PHP543 (USD9.37). π Yep, everything's too costly these days indeed. I do need to be more mindful of my purchases. π
Aside from the run to the bank, I made it a point to work on some organizing of stuff. I've filled in most of the airtight food containers I got. I changed the dirty placemats and washed those too. Little by little, I'll work on the tasks on my list. I will also be working on writing out some postcards for sending out after the holidays. For sure it will be a productive vacation while I also plan on balancing it with rest and extra sleep. This long vacation has not happened in a long time. I'm being given a chance to enjoy one, so I will be making the most of it. ππͺ
This is it. 5 days left in the year. 2025 is slowly creeping in now. π Are you ready? I can't say if I am ready for 2025 already. π I'd say it will come when it comes.
I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. I'm actually 3 cents away from $4 on LL now. I will definitely cross that by tomorrow (Friday is crediting of LL coop link earnings). Will be tracking this with my ALIVE staking next time.
