Got in an argument with someone on Sunday on wether mother's day should be abolished so those without mothers won't feel too bad. I love that you have fond memories of her and remember her with love and not loss.

@fredkese - I guess it's a fair argument on both sides, but in reality Mother's Day should be everyday and we should not need one day to remind incredible women how important they are. If someone grew up without a mother, we can empathize with their void.

Hi Jimmy,
I too was touched by a Mother with great qualities. She was a fantastic woman dedicated to the care of children like no other person in the world but she also had her flaws that made her a unique person. I didn’t care that she was an excellent cook, or that a very sharp and intelligent person, or that she was possessive and tended to put her children against each other. I loved her the way she was, and now I would pay any money to bring her back to life and tell her why she left suddenly. But that’s the way life works. Sooner or later we are left alone to face adversities without realizing that mothers are always with us, in all those characteristics that we have inherited, without ever abandoning ourselves even after I am opassate to a better life.
