This first Sunday of October, day 933 since the #Quarantine was announced in #Venezuela due to the COVID-19 #pandemic, at the time of registering how my day is going, I reviewed the ephemeris of #History, well personally, I'm having a nice quiet day (I really love these days when nothing problematic happens or at least happens on a small scale), if I didn't do that to supplement my record that we're still alive on this side of the screen, the post would be (besides being brief) very concise or poor in content, seriously, my life can be boring for a good number of people I know. Anyway, what I was about, in today's ephemeris, the one that caught my attention is the one that has been celebrated since 2007, by resolution A/RES/61/271 of the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization, carried out at the #UN headquarters on June 15, 2007.
It is a date indicated for (according to the organization's official website): ..." 'spread the message of non-violence, including through education and public awareness'. The resolution reaffirms 'the relevance of the principle of non-violence' and the desire to 'ensure a culture of peace, tolerance, understanding and non-violence'." I really like the purpose of this commemoration, I would really like that as a species, humans could live a less #violent #life and that the #conflicts, which I think will not disappear (because they are born from conflicts of interest of endless ambitions) could be resolved by more reasonable means, but the reality is that I am not sure that we as a species will achieve much in this regard, I suppose that there I agree with old Thomas Hobbes and the astute Niccolò Machiavelli, in his idea of politics and government... at times I think it's a bit disappointing, but then I start to think that perhaps the cry of the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche that present-day humanity was not the final step of evolution and that work had to be done to the advent of a new evolution, the rise of the 'Übermensch', not in the racist, segregationist and manipulated sense of Nazi ideologies, but in its simplest sense that it is evolving from l or lower and meaner towards the most spiritual and elevated that is achieved to fulfill the purpose of existence of the human species.
All of this makes me sound like a hippie with a lot of books on my head and a green marijuana snuff (personal laugh), but I guess a part of me, even though I'm terribly realistic about these things, wishes I could dream of a future better than current reality.
After all, we have today things like the war in Ukraine, tribal conflicts in various countries, wars between factions in the world of organized crime, credible threats of use of nuclear weapons by great powers, diverse criminal violence in all the countries of the world that I can think of... in short, that we have a violent world and in which force and the ability to exercise it is what determines the Law and its application.
I really wish that we could transcend all that violence, but a part of me questions me and asks me if this has not been an old dream, present since the classical age of the Greek philosophers, that has not yet been fulfilled and that I do not see to take place in the near future. However, I want to think that it is like following an ideal, a kind of horizon to guide actions, maybe in the end it is like my current rule of life 'live one day at a time', maybe the personal answer for this it is trying to live each day trying not to exercise violence against other people... That would leave us in a complicated position in this world, because those who oppose us and wish to impose themselves will have a free path to torture, kill and disappear us... the idea leaves me at a very paradoxical crossroads, I would like there not to be so much violence, but without the threat of being able to exercise violence our enemies would make us purée.
All this is too complicated, and I'm already rambling a lot with a matter that may never get an answer in my life, anyway, let's leave the record for today. I wish you well, and we can read each other again another time.

Este primer domingo de octubre, día 933 desde que en #Venezuela se anunció la #Cuarentena por la #pandemia de Covid19, al momento de hacer el registro de como va mi día, revisé las efemérides de la #Historia, pues en lo personal, estoy teniendo un agradable día tranquilo (realmente yo amo estos días en que no sucede nada problemático o por lo menos ocurre a pequeña escala), si no hiciera eso para complementar mi registro de que seguimos vivos de este lado de la pantalla, la publicación quedaría (además de breve) muy escueta o pobre de contenido, pues en serio que mi vida puede resultar aburrida para una buena cantidad de gente que conozco. En fin, a lo que iba, en las efemérides de hoy, la que me llamó la atención es la que se celebra desde 2007, por resolución A/RES/61/271 de la Asamblea General de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas, realizada en la sede de la #ONU el 15 de junio de 2007.

Encuentro muy de mi gusto la finalidad de esta conmemoración, realmente me gustaría mucho que como especie, los humanos pudiéramos vivir una #vida menos #violenta y que los #conflictos, que creo que no van a desaparecer (por nacer de los conflictos de intereses de inacabables ambiciones) se pudieran resolver por medios más razonables, pero la realidad es que no estoy seguro de que nosotros como especie logremos mucho en ese sentido, supongo que allí le doy la razón al viejo Thomas Hobbes y al astuto Nicolás Maquiavelo, en su idea de política y gobierno... por momentos pienso que es algo decepcionante, pero luego me doy a pensar que puede que el clamor del filósofo Friedrich Nietzsche de que la humanidad actual no era el paso final de la evolución y que debía de trabajarse para el advenimiento de una nueva evolución, el surgimiento del 'Übermensch', no en el sentido racista, segregacionista y manipulado por las ideologías nazis, sino en su sentido más simple de que es evolucionando de lo más bajo y ruin hacia lo más espiritual y elevado que se logra cumplir el propósito de existencia de la especie humana.
Todo esto me hace sonar como un Hippie con muchos libros en la cabeza y un tabaco de mariguana verde (risas personales), pero supongo que una parte de mí, a pesar de que soy terriblemente realista en estos temas, desea poder soñar con un futuro mejor que la realidad actual.
Después de todo, tenemos hoy en día cosas como la Guerra en Ucrania, los conflictos tribales en países diversos, guerras entre facciones del mundo del crimen organizado, amenazas creíbles de utilización de armas nucleares por parte de las grandes potencias, violencia delictiva diversa en todos los países del mundo que puedo pensar... en fin, que tenemos un mundo violento y en el que la fuerza y la capacidad de ejercerla es lo que determina la Ley y su aplicación.
Yo de verdad desearía que pudiéramos trascender toda esa violencia, pero una parte de mí me cuestiona y me pregunta si ese no ha sido un viejo sueño, presente desde la época clásica de los filósofos griegos, que aún no se ha cumplido y que no veo que se realice en un futuro próximo. Sin embargo, quiero pensar que es como seguir un ideal, una especie de horizonte para guiar las acciones, puede que a fin de cuentas sea como mi regla actual de vida 'vivir un día a la vez', puede que la respuesta personal para esto es tratar de vivir cada día procurando no ejercer violencia contra otras personas... Eso nos dejaría en una posición complicada en este mundo, pues los que nos adversen y deseen imponerse tendrán el camino libre para torturarnos, matarnos y desaparecernos... nuevamente la idea me deja en una encrucijada muy paradógica, me gustaría que no hubiera tanta violencia, pero sin la amenaza de poder ejercer violencia nuestros enemigos nos harían puré.
Demasiado complicado todo esto y ya estoy divagando mucho con un asunto que puede que nunca consiga respuesta en mi vida, en fin, dejemos el registro por hoy. Te deseo que tú estés bien y nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.
