If the communities lacks engagement, then they are not really communities. But really this is the case. Nowadays the whole Hive blockchain lacks engagement. The average number of comments per post is 2-3, and most of those comments are bot comments.

I know about the engagement league. I am even a part of it, and I was in the top 10 of it multiple times. Encouraging engagement is not bad, but it should not be necessary either (at least on a real and properly working social network).
