Its Wednesday walk time again. I managed 3 today - around the block at work during my lunch break, walking home from work, and then again around our neighbourhood with my wife after dinner !
The theme today on my walk was lovely blue skies with dramatic clouds !!! Its been a really beautiful day here in Edinburgh, but it is very cold - zero degrees C, and they are predicting snow ! This was the view when I got home from work tonight, with the clouds just starting to turn pink just before sunset.
I took the pic above just as we set out for our evening walk just after dinner. The sky was looking lovely and it was starting to get dark.
And the pic above was taken a little further along the road looking out over the school thats close to us - I was loving the purples in the clouds !
The view above looks out over the school again, but 5 mins later on the walk from the top. The school was lit up and a lot of cars were going into the car park, so they must have had something on this evening.
By the time we got around past the school and then a block further down it was getting noticeably darker - but the clouds were still looking great !
And then I loved how these trees were looking against the sky.
A bit further round the walk and we passed this lovely church steeple. It was getting really cold by this point, about -2 degrees, and I was looking forward to getting back home.
There was not much more to share from the walk after that. We enjoyed it, but I'm now thawing out back at home - it was freezing, and there was the odd snow drop - but it didnt feel like it was going to dump on us.
There was just one last pic I wanted to share (above) which I spotted on my walk home from work - this little cheeky chappy ! A new piece of graffiti added along the cycle path. I really like it !
Well thats my wednesday walk for this week - I got a good few steps in, which was very nice indeed !
