En este canal funcionaba la vieja terminal naviera, en el viejo puerto arribaban todos aquellos que visitaban nuestra ciudad, y para acceder al puerto debían ingresar por el canal. Esta recuperación cultural está a cargo del ¨Gobierno¨¨provincial¨ que ha estado trabajando arduamente en recuperar lugares históricos de nuestra ciudad. Este canal no solo formo parte del viejo puerto, también era el acceso al ¨campo¨ de ¨batería¨ mientras mantuvimos el ¨conflicto¨¨velico¨ con el país vecino ¨Paraguay¨. El canal paso por una limpieza y dragado para que los turistas que nos visitan a la ciudad, puedan acceder con sus embarcaciones, incluso se puedan hospedar allí. La restauración del canal fue un verdadero éxito, desde la inauguración no paran de llegar embarcaciones de diferentes partes del país y de países vecinos

Me pase gran parte de la mañana en el consultorio de la profesional, ya no me quedaba tiempo para salir a caminar en el predio que esta cerca de casa, por eso opte por caminar en este ¨paseo¨¨costero¨, debo admitir que disfrutamos mucho, ver esta recuperación cultural me hace sentir orgulloso de mi ciudad, de solo pensar en todas las cosas históricas que sucedieron aquí me llenan de orgullo.
