The purpose of love is not to achieve what you want, but to do something for the welfare of the person you love. When you seek your own benefit you are selfish and true love does not practice selfishness.
Love allows us to live and experience the most sublime desires for others, who are the propitious field to develop it. That love must be expressed through words, caresses, acts that reflect the recognition and appreciation we have for someone.
For many, there is the need to accumulate wealth to express their love, to benefit others. It is very difficult and unappreciated to express love otherwise. But it can be done.
