"Eco system". This prompt reminds me a theory I once heard that's interesting. It encompasses the belief that the environment an individual grows up in affects every part of that person's life. I've always believed a flaw exists in the theory's reasoning in that negative environment and influences beyond a person's control don't always result in a negative outlook or future. I relay such a story in a ZAPFIC50. A ZAPFIC50 story is told in exactly 50 words. The challenge was created by @felt.buzz.

The control group had been selected. The study began in the summer of our tenth birthday.
Ten of us were friends. Raised in the same neighborhood.
The researchers pondered why the five elements of the eco system didn't materialize as expected.
They overlooked Maslow's fifth hierarchy of needs: self actualization.
