It is official, trout season is over. Today I took the livewell out of my boat and set it up for the next fishier which is pompano. But at the moment everything is on hold, you see, we have been coned. If you are from Florida, you know what this means. I will use a hashtag for each meaning, #hurricane, #badweather, #lotsofrain, and #therewillbenofishing. A couple of days ago they were saying it could be a cat 5, I am glad they changed it, now they are saying a cat 1 or 2. That is a lot better.
This morning they said it will come in at Naples and go east, which put us in the eye of the storm. But I watch the weather channel at 6 pm and they moved the cone more to the west, this is good for us. It can change back but if it stays in this direction, we will only get some rain from it.
I have a question, what do retired people do all day? After taking the livewell out of my boat and planting some flowers, I was pretty bored with the rest of the day. I took a long nap and I must say, I enjoyed it.
