Mariana, had just arrived from work, as she entered her house, she greeted her mother, who was about to start preparing dinner and saw her son running towards her and hugging her, after greeting her son Mariana, decided to make herself comfortable and start helping her mother with the food and thus spend time with her, while her son was playing with his game console.
Mariana and her mother began to talk about common situations, work, friends, neighbors, the behavior of Adrian, Mariana's son, while they both prepared dinner, then the conversation of mother and daughter, diverted to the rising cost of services, products and food.
Both came to the conclusion that it was becoming increasingly difficult for them to maintain their quality of life, because they earned the same, but spent much more, in fact, both had commented that to make ends meet, both had used their credit cards, a situation that had not happened since 2008, with the economic crisis of that year.
Mariana's mother paused and turned on the TV, both women were still cooking, talking laughing and listening to the TV, Mariana began to change channels and stopped on a news channel, on that channel was speaking Jerome Powell, Chairman of the FED, who was announcing a new interest rate hike, and informed the nation that the banking crisis and inflation were under control.
Mariana's mother looked her in the eyes and asked her, "Tell me honey, do you believe anything he says to that guy? Mariana shook her head negatively and told her mother, "I don't believe a word they say to those in the government, especially not that guy," while pointing at Powell with a knife with which she was chopping vegetables.
Finally, Mariana said to her mother, "by the way, mom, I think we should go to the bank and withdraw everything in cash, I also think we should learn about Bitcoin and the so called safe haven assets, to protect our savings, I no longer trust the banks, I don't believe in what the government says and even less in what Powell says".
They both shook their heads, the mother said to Mariana, "yes let's do that" and continued cooking their dinner.

5 Minutos de Escritura Libre: Indicación: Sacudió la Cabeza: La reacción de Mariana..
Mariana, acababa de llegar del trabajo, al entrar a su casa, saludo a su madre, que estaba a punto de iniciar la preparación de la cena y vio a su hijo correr hacia ella y abrazarla, después de saludar a su hijo Mariana, decidió ponerse cómoda y empezar a ayudar a su madre con la comida y así pasar tiempo con ella, mientras su hijo se dedicaba a jugar con su consola de juegos.
Mariana y su madre, comenzaron a conversar sobre las situaciones comunes, trabajo, amigos, vecinos, el comportamiento de Adrián, el hijo de Mariana, mientras ambas preparaban la cena, luego la conversación de madre e hija, se desvió hacia el aumento del costo de los servios, de los productos y de la comida.
Ambas llegaron a la conclusión, de cada vez se les hacía más difícil mantener su calidad de vida, debido a que ganaban lo mismo, pero gastaban mucho más, de hecho, ambas habían comentado, que para llegar a final de mes, ambas habían utilizado sus tarjetas de crédito, situación que no les ocurría desde el 2008, con la crisis económica de ese año.
La madre de Mariana, hizo una pausa y encendió el televisor, ambas mujeres seguían cocinando, hablando riendo y escuchando la TV, Mariana, comenzó a cambiar los canales y se paró en un canal de noticias, en ese canal estaba hablando Jerome Powell, Presidente de la FED, quien estaba anunciando una nueva alza de las tasas de interés, y le informaba a la nación que la crisis bancaria y la inflación estaban controladas.
La madre de Mariana, la vio a los ojos y le preguntó, ¿Dime cariño, le crees algo de lo que dice a ese tipo?, Mariana sacudió la cabeza de forma negativa y le dijo a su madre, no les creo ni una palabra de lo que dicen a los del gobierno y menos a ese, mientras señalaba a Powell con un cuchillo con el que picaba los vegetales.
Finalmente, Mariana le dijo a su madre, “por cierto, mamá, creo deberíamos ir al banco y sacar todo en efectivo, también creo que deberíamos de aprender sobre el Bitcoin y los llamados activos refugios, para resguardar nuestros ahorros, ya no confío en los bancos, tampoco creo en lo que dice el gobierno y menos en lo que dice Powell”.
Ambas sacudieron la cabeza, la madre le dijo a Mariana, “si hagamos eso” y continuaron cocinando su cena.
