If you read my title, it is a very bold title. Dominate Hive. You are thinking, what the hell is Bradley going on with this morning.
As I continue my series about 10Xing your efforts on Hive and continue getting inspiration from my new e-book from Mr. Cardone I will explain.
I believe if you come to write on Hive every day and you are not putting forth you best effort, better than you best effort, better than the last time, better than anyone else on Hive you are doing yourself a disservice.
You have to aim so high that you dominate Hive. You have to best blog posts out there, every post you do is better than anyone else out there.
Is this going to happen every time? More than likely not but you have to aim for it, it has to be your goal. If it is amazing things will happen.
As I said in my last post I feel like I am sucking, maybe failing with my posts to LeoFinance. Mainly due to the value in votes I am not getting. How do I fix that, or at least how do I fix that in my mind?
With what I said above. If I inspire to write the best post every time, to dominate everyone else with my posts then something happens to my mind.
The upvote value does not matter to me anymore. I am doing my best, I am improving every time I write, I am doing my best. The rest of it, votes, engagement will come with time.
A quote from the book: "I wasn't there to play the game. I was in it to write the rules and create the game."
I know it seems over the top. But if you truly want to succeed on Hive and in life it is time to get your head in it and believe you can dominate.
Now, I am not talking about crushing people, or domination over people, I am talking about dominating your efforts. Remember that is a giant difference.
One of the explanations from the dictionary of Domination is: Exercise of mastery.
Become a mastery of your writing and you will dominate in such a great way. People will try to emulate you.
Showing up everyday
Grant makes some excellent points about using social media that I can easily convert to what you should be doing on Hive. So the following is paraphrasing and inspiration from that reading.
Daily contest is something unimaginable for most people on Hive. Showing up everyday and writing something, anything, ideas, can be a struggle. I know it is for me. But to wrap my head around dominance is going to help that in the future.
I got the showing up thing down. This is my 1329th strait day of posting on Hive.
Most people are happy showing up now and then. Sending a blog post every few days, doing a thread every now and then (I need to get better at that). Doing a 3speak video now and then (I am failing at that).
You have to crush it. You have to do so much that people thing you are crazy. You have to get in peoples faces. They have to know who you are. And the only way to do that is push push push.
You need to 10X your efforts. To quote Grant: "If you're creating a tidal wave, you need unstoppable energy and momentum."
"When you aim to dominate, you set the pace."
Set your own pace. Above everyone else. Do better than everyone else. Then you will see unbelievable success on Hive. Not before.
I will end this post with one last line inspired by reading and paraprasing.
"It doesn't matter if other Hivians think your nuts for the level of both your goals and your activity. What matters is the you continue on your own path, playing by your own rules, to win your game, and to be the standard by which all other will be measured."
How many people on Hive do you look upto because they do this. I know I look up to people like @jongolson and @taskmaster4450 because of the reasons above. They are doing their own thing, they are crushing it. They are showing up each day. The 100 percent believe in what they are doing, and doing it the way they want.
This is the level you want to get to, to pass, to dominate.

- Bring some joy to my wife today
- Onboard Vanessa to Hive
- Stay positive and keep a good attitude
- Promote Hive to someone new
- Get Curation Trial to 200 people
- Hit 6000 HP by end of 2023
- Do 2000 strait days posting on Hive
- LPUD every month in 2023
- Save 1 Million HBD in my life time
