Crypto prices have been languishing lately and not doing much of anything. However there are so many people out there preaching that crypto will be jumping prior to year end while others are stating that a crash is just around the corner.
Who do you Believe? Since I am not a fortune teller, I will just continue to accumulate my crypto holdings until a more definitive direction has been established.
Hive Target
My account growth is slow but I have been consistent over the past month so getting back into the habit of creating content on a daily basis.
Growing my account is very important. My weekly reports help me see how my account has grown from the activity that I expended. My goal is to reach 5000 Hive Power. My current Hive balance is 2,594. Up 20 Hive Power from last week, 10 of which is a result of the Hive Power Up Day.
Hive Power Ranking
To help me see how my hive account is growing relative to others on the Hive Platform, I track my Hive Power Ranking. Last week, I was ranked 3543 and this week my relative Hive Power ranking has moved up to 3518. An increase of 25 positions for the week. I noticed that as I go higher in the ranking the balances of Hive Power are not as bunched together so moving up positions will take a longer amount of time.
Even though I have a long way to go, this is very good progress. I am trying to continue to keep my activity consistent on a daily basis so that I am always moving forward instead of falling back or sitting still.
HBD Savings Ranking
Another metric that I track is my relative rank to others on the Hive Platform in HBD Savings.
HBD saving is an easy way to get a return of 20% APR. This is one of the passive income streams that I hope to strength over time. I do not have very much in HBD savings only 43 HBD but by reviewing it on a weekly basis, will encourage me to add to my savings more over time. I added 1 HBD this week to help with commitment to saving.
The Interest can be claimed once per month, I am 35 hours away from claiming this month's interest of 0.655
Currently, my relative HBD Savings ranking is 2280 compared to 2291 last week. I would like to add a whole lot more to my saving of HBD to receive the 20% APR. But I will need to add it at a very slow pace since this will also slow down my adding to my Hive Power.
Hive Received Rewards
This past week included Hive Power Up Day, it helped grow my Hive Power. However my Author Rewards dropped to 12.38 HP ($4.32) with Curation Rewards of 3.02 HP ($1.05) as compared to last weeks amounts of 16.72 HP ($5.89) with Curation Rewards of 3.43 HP ($1.21).
With my weekly earnings declining each week for the past month, I wonder if it is due to the overall crypto environment and that the momentum will change when crypto stabilized and starts to rise.
In reviewing the 30 Day chart, it shows my Author Rewards were 71.54 HP ($24.95) with Curation Rewards of 14.44 HP ($5.04) as compared to 91.14 HP ($32.11) with Curation Rewards of 14.82 HP ($5.22) last week's 30 day amounts. I received a badge for posting on a daily basis in the month of May. I will try to keep up my daily content creation going forward.
I am receiving 0.72 HBD interest for the past 30 days. My goal is to reach 1 HBD per month so I amount about 3/4 of the way there.
Curation APR
I notice that as I get more active making comments and replying to comments as well that my Curation APR % is declining. I was looking over my curation activity and noticed that I have a lot of curation that I am not earning on due to the payout minimum threshold. This is rewarding those that are replying and commenting on my post so I will need to see how I can get my curation APR back up to the range that I target (8%-10%) without impacting my voting on replies and comments.
Hive Engine Tokens
I am receiving 6 Hive ($2.09) over the past 7 days in Hive Engine Tokens from content creation and curation. Over the past 30 days, I have received 27.73 Hive ($9.67) for both author and curation rewards.
My top Hive Engine Token holdings over $10 in value are AlIVE, CTP, INDEX, ALIVEM, POB, BRO and LEO. I have several others which are close to $10 but it might be a while before that pass that level.
