As an artist, there is nothing quite like the beauty of nature to inspire my work. It was a warm and charming beginning of summer in Zagreb, Croatia.
I was drawn more to the parks and green areas in the city center, especially the very quaint and beautiful botanical garden, located only a couple of minutes from the central train station.
The vibrant colors and intricate shapes of the blossoming flowers surrounded me on my walk, and the smell of pine trees was fresh and aromatic.
Como artista, nada se puede comparar con la belleza de la naturaleza para inspirar mis obras. Era un cálido y encantador inicio de verano en Zagreb, Croacia.
Me sentí más atraído por los parques y zonas verdes del centro de la ciudad, especialmente por el jardín botánico muy pintoresco y hermoso, ubicado a solo unos minutos de la estación central de trenes.
Los vibrantes colores y las formas intrincadas de las flores me rodeaban durante mi paseo, el aroma de los pinos era fresco y aromático.
I started playing with different shapes in my early painting, and after creating the artwork “Spring Paradise” I knew I wanted to play more within the same style. My inspiration led me to create three abstract paintings of flowers.
The first painting "Flowers I" features red and blue flowers. I wanted to capture the contrast between the cool blue tones and the warm red hues. The yellow-green background adds a sense of freshness to the piece, giving it a natural feel. It was a lot of fun creating this artwork.
Empecé a jugar con diferentes formas en mis primeras pinturas, y después de crearel cuadro “Paraíso de Primavera” supe que quería jugar más con el mismo estilo. Mi inspiración me llevó a crear tres cuadros abstractos de flores.
La primera pintura "Flores I" presenta flores rojas y azules. Quería capturar el contraste entre los tonos azules fríos y los tonos rojos cálidos. El fondo amarillo verdoso añade una sensación de frescura a la pintura, dándole un toque natural. Fue muy divertido crear esta obra de arte.
The second painting "Flowers II" follows the spirit of the first, with a similar background but only blue flowers. I wanted to see what the artwork would look like with a different color scheme - I was pleased with the result. The blue flowers have a calming effect and create a peaceful and calming atmosphere in the painting.
La segunda pintura "Flores II" sigue el espíritu de la primera, con un fondo similar pero solo con flores azules. Quería ver cómo se vería la obra de arte con un esquema de color diferente. Estaba satisfecho con el resultado. Las flores azules tienen un efecto calmante y crean una atmósfera pacífica y relajante en la pintura.
For the third painting "Flowers III", I decided to switch things up and create red flowers on the same green background. The result was satisfying, with the red flower drawing the eye immediately. I love how the green background complemented the bold red of the flower. The opposite colors on the color wheel work well in this artwork.
Para la tercera pintura "Flores III" decidí cambiar las cosas y crear flores rojas sobre el mismo fondo verde. El resultado fue satisfactorio, con la flor roja llamando la atención de inmediato. Me encanta cómo el fondo verde complementa el rojo audaz de la flor. Los colores opuestos en la rueda de colores funcionan bien en esta obra de arte.
Overall, I am thrilled with the way these paintings turned out. They are a testament to the beauty and inspiration found in the natural world, and I am grateful for the opportunity to capture that beauty in my art.
En general, estoy encantado con la forma en que resultaron estas pinturas. Son un testimonio de la belleza y la inspiración que se encuentran en el mundo natural, y estoy agradecido por la oportunidad de capturar esa belleza en mi arte.
P.S. This series has a fourth piece as well, but that one will stay with me forever. At the time, I was volunteering at a dog shelter, I was taking home abandoned dogs while nurturing and training them before they were adopted.
The dog I had at that time was called Don, a very beautiful gray American Staffordshire Terrier, who thought that the fun of painting should be shared. So, after observing me for a while he jumped into action and started painting with me.
It was very playful and we had loads of fun (you can see his paw at the top right red colored flower). The painting does not have the same beautiful result, but it will forever be very special to me.
PD Esta serie también tiene una cuarta pieza, pero esa se quedará conmigo para siempre. En ese momento, era voluntario en un refugio para perros, llevaba a casa perros abandonados mientras los cuidaba y entrenaba antes de que fueran adoptados.
El perro que tenía en ese momento se llamaba Don, un American Staffordshire Terrier gris muy hermoso, que pensaba que la diversión de pintar debía ser compartida. Entonces, después de observarme por un tiempo, saltó a la acción y comenzó a pintar conmigo.
Nos divertimos mucho, que alegría (puedes ver su pata en la flor de color rojo arriba a la derecha). La pintura no tiene el mismo resultado hermoso, pero siempre será muy especial para mí.
