The Christmas Holiday is only about a week away. We have a slight cold spell to accompany it. It's also time for Let's Make a Collage ("LMAC") Round 153 this week. A lovely snow setting for the holiday season. It's a magical time of year, so I can't wait to see the various themes. My theme is not a traditional in that it includes extra-terrestrials.
To create the setting, I started with the photograph provided by @shaka in his contest post: Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 153 - ✨148 HIVE in the Prize Pool!

Searching For the Meaning of Christmas
The star sat glowing in the dark. Its radiating brilliance detected in the nearby galaxy. Zandleez and his comrades heard rumors when young of strange beings and a festival occurring during a certain moon phase in that galaxy.
They prepared for their journey. Their destination...the star. They wanted to see firsthand the purpose of the festival. Their galactic guide cautioned them to observe and not interfere.
The guide already knew of the star in the far galaxy. She also knew it would do them no harm. But she also knew they were only children and curious. So they charted their course and led them to one of the beautifully decorated sites celebrating the spirit of Christmas.
To create my theme, I located two beautiful and serene winter landscapes from free sources:
