I can't believe it's my fifth year on the blockchain this month; time really does fly. My time on the blockchain has been among the most special moments of my life. It's been a wonderful adventure thus far, full of many valuable lessons. Looking back on the five years I've been on the blockchain, I consider it time well spent. Today, I am proud of how far I have come and how much I have learned through my daily interactions that I could not have learned anywhere else.
How It All Began
I first learned about a social blockchain (then Steemit) where users could blog and receive rewards for doing so in 2017. Since blogging wasn't my interest, the entire idea never struck me as exciting. I didn't really give it much thought until a friend (@odsam2) who introduced me, personally showed me around on the platform and explained how it operates. I didn't know anything, and I had no experience with cryptocurrencies in particular. Since he was also new to the platform, he was unable to provide me with all the clarifications I required to my many enquiries. It felt as though I had arrived on a different planet when I had to find my way on the blockchain. To learn how the social blockchain operated, I had to read more, engage more, and follow others who were already familiar with the platform in order learn from them. To make a long story short, I was able to get by because I was continuously engaged and active. Some of the things I learned and that really helped me out were being consistent and active.

It Has Always Felt Great Being Here
I have realized that Hive has the potential to significantly change people's life in different ways. When I say this, I speak from personal experience. My activities on the Hive blockchain over the past few months have had a significant impact on myself as well as others. In my opinion, Hive is a better world, a wonderful place to be and spend time with others. There is no denying that the blockchain technology has given us a lot of options and Hive is the best option.
Impacts of Hive On My Life
I have made a lot of good friends here who have positively impacted my life. The gift of friendship is among the best gifts Hive has given me, in my opinion. If you were to give me a choice between money and people, I would choose people because, in the end, it's the people you know that count, not how much money you have or have earned. Some of the people I've gotten to know through meetups are now my closest friends.
Thanks to Hive, we have enjoyed ourselves, worked on projects, and developed close bonds with one another. Hive has given me several opportunities to learn about cryptocurrency and the potential applications of blockchain technology. As I write and post regularly, I've also noticed a significant improvenment in my writings, all thanks to Hive.
One of the major impacts on my life has been the kind of exposure Hive has given me since I started working on Hive water projects in Ghana.I gained valuable project management experience in the areas of project management, planning, budgeting, project progress tracking and completion.

They are the kinds of knowledge that have added greatly to my skill sets and will be helpful to me in future.
My Future Plans For Hive
In life, failing to plan is intending to fail. We all need a strategy to keep us on track as we go to our destinations. Setting goals is usually a wonderful idea, but there must also be a plan in place to achieve those goals. I'd like to see a big Hive Ghana community with many Ghanaians joining Hive.
As a result, I intend to hold more promotions focused at introducing as many people as possible to Hive. My plan is to organize Hive conferences with the help of other Hivers, where we hope to expose Hive to individuals from various spheres of life. Once more, the goal of the Hive Empowers Communities Project would be to attract investors into the Hive ecosystem who would finance Hive community projects, allowing us to reach out to more Ghanaian communities that lack access to clean water and provide assistance.
I discovered I have made 735 posts, given 40006 comments, reached 68 reputation with 1,525 followers, and 1400 HP right now. They are all noteworthy accomplishments, but I believe there needs to be much more done before the year is out. I am confident that the years on Hive ahead will be incredibly interesting and full of much greater accomplishments than I have made thus far.

Appreciation
They say that if you want to go fast in life, you should go alone, but if you want to go far, you should go with others. I couldn't have gotten this far without the help of amazing people in the Hive ecosystem. I decided not to add any names here because I would end up missing some and would rather thank everyone who has made my time on Hive enjoyable. To everyone of my followers, I sincerely appreciate your time spent reading my post, as well as your vote, comments, and reblogs. God bless everyone who contributed to my time on Hive.
