Friday was my rest day from training and I was thankful for that. All my steps, therefore, came from just walking to and from work for each of my shifts.
At work, the saga of spare buses continues and I had to use yet another different bus today. That makes 4 different buses in 4 days of working this week. It also means that I've now driven every bus that is big enough to pick up the children to school. This final bus I've been trying to avoid for as long as possible as it's an automatic vehicle and I've not driven an automatic for over 30 years. I never feel I'm completely in control but I managed to complete both shifts without accidentally stamping on the break or having any other issues.
