Evening Wednesday Walk to Zagreb's Upper Town & HivePUD

My husband and I took a longer walk around the city, including the Upper Town. From the main square, through some narrow streets and up the stairs to the old Upper Town.

The dog was very curious about what was on the other side of the fence. 😁

Then we approached the upper station of Zagreb's famous funicular.

It was the right time to catch it driving. One wagon always goes up while the other is heading down.

From there, the view on Zagreb city at night is something special, at least for me.

Turning on the other side, the view stretches to the towers of Zagreb's cathedral.

And, yes, today, I managed to power up my account on time.

Yes, and the atmosphere is also a bit different, especially during winter. And this was a bit chilly evening. Besides that, I was publishing this post in a hurry, picking the photos in the same manner, without time to edit them even just a bit. So, they surely are not the best ones to show, and I believe it also affects the look & feel impression.

However, if and whenever you decide to jump over here again, please don't hesitate to drop me a line. I would be glad to meet you and sip a cup of coffee with you if it wouldn't bother you. 😊

A beautiful night walk around the city, from what I remember Zagreb was beautiful during the day but special at night

Thank you very much! Zagreb is a bit chilly at this time of year, so there is not so much activity on the streets, especially not in the evening, as it usually is during warmer months, especially July and August. But I kinda like that more tranquil atmosphere. 😊

And yeah, it has been quite some while since I participated in your #wednesdaywalk initiative. I share with you that fun feeling of having fun by "traveling around the world" through the posts of others who have gathered around that tag of yours for years by now. And observing it from that perspective, I am way better at visiting others' posts than publishing my own. 🤷😊
