I took the opportunity to catch up with some odd jobs at home. I have one more day off work but tomorrow I'm busy away from home.
So although I was home most of the day I did need to get out for a few items at one of the hardware outlets here in the town. I was attempting to build two flat pack bedside cabinets but one pack did not have any fittings at all! 🙁
That was the reason for the hardware store visit! 😃
Due to the bespoke nature of the fittings, I had to find an alternative way to fix the top onto each cabinet, using right angle brackets.
This method unfortunately compromised the clearance of the drawers. I'll have to get some countersunk screws as the round headed ones do not allow the drawer enough clearance. 😵💫
I'll get the job done tomorrow evening!
Not a great step count today but enough I think due to the trip out to the shops.
