Hello again! Assalamu Alaikum! How are you? I hope that you are doing great. Welcome to my post. It's actifit report number 1104. It's also the Alive and Thriving report on Friday, Feb 23, 2024!
My Friday
Morning walk:
After the Fajr prayer, I went for a morning walk. I walked for a little over half an hour. Later, I took a power nap for around 15 minutes.

After 9 am, we went out by car to search for the school for my kid. He is growing and it's time to admit him to a school. We asked for suggestions from the well-wishers. We have some suggestions. We went to see the locations of those schools. In my place of work, there is no Bangladeshi school. There is an Indian school but we prefer a bilingual Omani/Arabic school.
Jummah prayer
After 11:30 am, I went to the mosque to attend the Jummah prayer. I went to the nearby mosque. It ended a little after 1 pm.
Buying Skype credits
Usually, I talk with my parents over Facebook Messenger. Today afternoon, there was no electricity in my Bangladeshi village home. Hence, I had no option other than buying minutes to call their cellphone numbers. Two mobile operators, Omantel and Ooredoo, had no offers that I could opt in to.
Then I tried to buy Skype credits. At first, my debit card payment was declined. The payment by PayPal was also unsuccessful. Later, I contacted a live Skype agent who sent me another link to buy the credits. It was successful at last. However, by that time, the electricity came back and I talked with my parents over Facebook Messenger.
Visiting Ibri Festival
A Festival is going on in Ibri. The whole town is on hype on this. So, we decided to visit it today. We went there at 5 pm and returned after 7:30 pm. I have a plan to make a separate post on this if time permits.

Visiting a family
From the festival, we went to a family friend's house. We were a bit hesitant to go there. But, they insisted. We had our dinner there. When we returned home, it was past 10:30 pm.
Even though Friday was my weekend, it wasn't a restful day for me. Now, it's time to jump into bed.
