There can be an hour of time between pictures. There can be a chasm between people. There can be a portal between consciousness. Are you sure you'll wake up here tomorrow and remember this? I don't.
There really is an hour of time between these pictures. I prepared like never before and went outside before sunset. Walked and photographed for about an hour and a half to understand some points and at the same time to experiment, getting high on the light, location and possibilities given to me. The sky will give those opportunities if you want them! And it does...
We're having spring again, and soon I'll be seeing these sunsets more often. The snow and ice is coming off the lakes and green shoots are just around the corner. I went outside twice today to find that I don't want to leave. When the spring breeze carries the scent of fresh life, it can't be ignored. I put on the colors of life and stayed inside. The warmth outside communicated with the warmth inside, and the dog running by decided to stay with me for a while.
I hope this is the energy of goodness...
If this world is just my imagination, then let my imagination paint these pictures every day. Okay, let it be a portal from other worlds or times. Let this world guarantee nothing today. Let it be an illusion.
But let that illusion continue...
Sunsets like this remind me of Nizhny Novgorod. I miss it so much. City of sunsets. City of warmth in the soul.
Now I wish to go back there just this year! It's a moment of magic if I do. And I will!
