What more could it be to saving up and buying the gadgets we need?
So I read a POST by @burlarj few hours ago and once you give that post a click, you will know that it is really a hell to stay without our gadgets just as @nkemakonam89 described it to be out of experience.
I immediately agreed because I can't even imagine how it will be without gadgets at this very age.
Then, something else struck my mind and that was having these gadgets without any data subscription running in them.
Jeez, that is another hell if you have encountered it.
Maybe this is fresh in my mind because MTN just did it to me few days ago.
It happened that my subscription finished but then I already bought the airtime to resubscribe once it finished but guess what,
MTN removed my data subscription plan
This meant that I couldn't subscribe and was waiting for them patiently to bring it back.
For you to grasp the situation very well, without data subscription:
No Chatting
The WhatsApp you so dearly run to whenever boredom catches up with you, you can't access them without data.
The Facebook that is your second option won't be fun since you can't be seeing pictures without data
Twitter won't even budge without a data subscription.
Just imagine yourself having in that condition few days when these results collation were going on, you won't even know what is happening in the country because you don't have data subscription.
No Hiving
You can't post or do anything in hive
Coming to the hive platform, the Ecency might open but you can't do anything and left with just watching the home screen.
PeakD won't even open at all and so will other frontends.
You have your phone and have the applications installed (which you can't still download without data subscription too) but then you can't make use of them because you don't have data subscription.
No Hiving means No Money 😢
No Movies Nor Musics
Recently, people prefer seeing movies with their gadgets rather than television and playing musics through various applications such as Spotify, YouTube Musics and the rest, these cannot even work without active data subscriptions.
You will be left with buying discs and at the mercy of EEDC for light supply to finish a particular movie and only listen to songs when there is light...
How worst could it get again😢
No Research
You can't even research neither could you explore various materials about topics you are interested in.
The online books that helps you save cost as a student can't even be assessed without active data subscription.
You literally have to work your ass out to get the money you need to buy the materials, handouts and textbooks you need.
You have seen now that it is not only enough to buy and own these gadgets but very much enjoyed when we also have money for the data subscription to be able to enjoy the features these gadgets comes with.
